Love your humor. You caught a keeper and Im not talking fish. Good luck on the continued healing for the bride.

Well got the Mrs. back on the water this weekend and needless to say we went very, very slow wherever we went. Today she kicked me arse with a 24 and a 32 redfish, we kept the 24 and released the 32 (her orders) just glad to get her back out on the boat. Very nerve wracking though, spent most of my time asking, you ok. Don't know why, she's tougher than you or me. Just happy to get her back out, can you tell?

Right on! Glad things are looking more and more positive!

When I'm running my dad's boat, can never get him to sit anywhere except the transom fishing chair - drives me crazy, but he won't ride up front because of wave shock - he will get up there to plane the boat.
Blessings and healing to you guys.

Thanks for trying to post about fishing on this fishing forum.
The St. Jo lakes are my favorite spot and favorite fishing on the entire TX coast.

Interesting, I love the area, but have always done better over at Mud Island, especially on an out going tide. Is there a best tide for the St. Jo lakes? I would imagine in-coming, except for the drains?

the lakes always fish best on a rising tide, when the gamefish are following the bait in to the back.
