| Well got the Mrs. back on the water this weekend and needless to say we went very, very slow wherever we went. Today she kicked me arse with a 24 and a 32 redfish, we kept the 24 and released the 32 (her orders) just glad to get her back out on the boat. Very nerve wracking though, spent most of my time asking, you ok. Don't know why, she's tougher than you or me. Just happy to get her back out, can you tell? |

Right on! Glad things are looking more and more positive! _________________ Great captains, the stuff of legend, are made not by what they have caught, but by what they have given back. |

Blessings and healing to you guys.
Thanks for trying to post about fishing on this fishing forum.
The St. Jo lakes are my favorite spot and favorite fishing on the entire TX coast.

Interesting, I love the area, but have always done better over at Mud Island, especially on an out going tide. Is there a best tide for the St. Jo lakes? I would imagine in-coming, except for the drains? |

| the lakes always fish best on a rising tide, when the gamefish are following the bait in to the back. |
