Gentlemen,
I need all the experience this board offers in finding a good charter boat for my brother and three friends. We are looking to spend around $1000.00 dollars for a 8-12 hour trip. I have looked at the Chamber of Commerce website for Port Aransas and have found several boats but I would like this boards feedback and advice on picking a good captain. We would like to go anytime in July on a Saturday preferably. Thanks,

| i went on the Gulf Eagle out of Deep Sea Headquarters about 3 weeks ago and me and my 3 friends limited out on red snapper. it was a fairly good day for fishing, but the seas were 7-8 foot, so not fun to ride in |

Tommy Gueldner or Matt Haworth of the 'Temptation' would be my first 2 choices.
Both nice boats. |

Tommy is a good guide. There are several that can put you on fish. Went out with some friends and slayed the fish.
For what its worth, here is our report from the other day.
