just south of Bob Hall. In today's Caller Times on the front page of the local section.
Awesome fish! To bad it wasn't tagged and released though. _________________ Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.

They said a mile from Bob Hall. I wonder if it was caught offshore from a boat or maybe at the new jetties because with the weed I saw on Sunday there would be no way to shark fish from shore.
I don't know what you would do with a 10 foot shark. I too would rather see it tagged but I hear those hammers often fight to the death. I recall Billy swimming with and reviving that scalloped hammer he thought was a goner. Again DON'T TRY THAT AT HOME |

‘My, what big teeth you have’
Jose Guzman (left) shows Nicholas Magana, 5, the teeth of a 10-foot hammerhead shark he caught a mile from Bob Hall Pier on Monday with Hilario Garcia. Nicholas was fishing under the JFK bridge with his grandfather when he saw the fishermen stop to take photos of their catch and walked over for a closer look.
Is that the whole story and pics in the paper? Thats all I could find on the website. It doesnt look 10'? |

| Is that a zodiak in the back of his truck? I saw two huge hammers offshore on Sunday, cruisin. Can't believe people are still killing big sharks. Thought we would have learned our lesson by now. |

I am guessing it was caught close to the rigs off BHP. We saw a large Hammer as well as others being reported just out of the Port A Jetties.
Tyler, 'dads' Hammer he swam out was a Greater. _________________ - Oz

That's right I got it confused with the one he got that was close to 9 that was a scalloped.
Here's "dad" with the Greater he swam with

| Ya those things do fight all their energy out of em it seems, I've swam with one that was like 6'5" or something like that and it took quite a while for it to get revived and going on its own. Definetly awesome feeling though to help it get back out. |
