A boat that size? We were taking in a ten foot Mowdy scooter with a 25 horse. I have launched my 13 foot scooter with a 50 from Y also. I run my Majek out of BIB. Launching the scooters out of Y is darn handy when it can be done.

I thought you were launching a majek down there. Makes alittle more sense.

I don't know about EGO, but it might be connected to an acute lack of common sense!

One can always count on Bird Island. What is it, an extra 15 miles? Doesn't hardley seem worth it to me to try Yarborough. Good luck anyways. Very Happy

No lack of common sense, at least I dont think so. Like I said, putting in at Y can be very handy. I guess you could say why put in at BIB when you could launch at the causeway or why go to the trouble and expense of driving down to the jetties when you could fish at the four wheel drive sign. I will agree that it doesn't make much sense when the conditions are bad. I might have had a lack of common sense to try it that day, but I recovered nicely.
