| Nevermind. I just read a post on Nick's board that said the Y will be closed until at least 20 December due to the condition of the road. Bummer. |

George,
If you need info like that, it is usually available at this phone number:
1.361.949.8175
They give you beach conditions, weather, tides, weed/man-o-war/tar reports, and a fishing report if anyone tells them about it. Pretty handy. They usually update it every morning around 10am it seems. I call it the few days before I head down just to make sure it will be worth it.

I drove past it on Sunday and saw the chain hanging up closing the Y. I hope they get that fixed soon or Carl B and Seabass will be heartbroken not to mention the racoons waiting to pounce on CarlB's stringer of keeper black drum!  |
