Anyone fishing the surf at PINS 11/5 and 11/6, please post the water conditions and any pompano being caught. Several of us are hoping to try for pompano between MP 20 and MP 35 on Sunday before the south winds get up again, so current wave and water clarity reports in that area would really be appreciated. Expect the usual pomp report afterward, and, if I can get Tyler to come along with us, some photos. If the conditions warrant, we'll be meeting @ Billings around 0615 Sunday in case anyone else wants to tag along. |

I am headed down, but wont be back in time to give you an update...and my cell phone doesn't seem to work on PINS (although, I've never climbed onto a dune and tried it...).
As of now, it looks a bit sandy, but fairly calm. Here's a few links:

Johnny, when we left tonight water was looking real good in the high banks. Mid 20s are green and clearing and probably your best bet for the Pomps. Although we put fishbites out today and didn't land any, they should be there if anywhere. Tons and Tons of Reds though. _________________ - Oz
