Got on the water about 7 this morning. Started our drift just south of the power plant. The morning was slow, we only had 6 trout in the boat by 11:30. We cought a lot of small trout. Then the trout turn on around noon. My buddy and I cought 7 more trout with in a hour. Total of 14 trout. I did catch a large Sheepshead in the flats. I never cought one in the flats before. I alway cought them bay where there are reefs around but not in grass flats before.

the trout we cought, the largest was 21" and one at 20". there is one sand trout in there.

We used live shrimp and if we had started later in the day we would have cought our limit of trout. The trout were in the cleaner water, as soon as we drifted in the the dirty water they stop hitting. They were in 3.5 to 4.5 ft of water.
