Sounds like its a done deal. By sometime this spring you will be able to purchase a "Priority Boarding Pass" from TxDOT or whoever ends up with the task. This $250/yr pass will allow you to muscle your way to the front of the line at the Port A or Bolivar ferry.

From what I read they can only use 50 percent passes and 50 percent nonpass on each boat. Just another way to make the line go slower.

The ferry is free. The pass allows some one to buck the line. Stupidity breeds greed or vice versa. Very Happy
