Went out to PA for a couple hours this morning. Caught a spanish mack right away and thought I was really going catch them today. Couldnt buy a hit after that. So I went over and fished the rocks on the shipchannel side and caught a few nice mangrove snappers. After a couple hours of that I ran out of shrimp and called it a day

Rabbit,
Are spanish macks good to eat? What would you rate them at? _________________ FIRELINE WILL " GET ER DONE!!" |

| Sprinkle black pepper and Lawry's Seasoned Salt on filets of smack. Place skin side down in a water pan smoker fueled with charcoal topped with wet chunks of pecan wood (a handfull of pecan shells will do if you don't have pecan trees handy). Oily fish like smacks and bluefish are prime fare when smoked, but even better are smoked pomps! |
