The seaweed was manageable but it is definitely all over the place.

I gave it a try this past weekend on Saturday and all we could manage was whiting and hardheads. The word on the street is that the cooler water temps are pushing fish North. The water was definitely cooler (77º) in the 20's.

I personally didn't see any bait besides the 2inch pomps and whiting in the shallow wade gut. And where are the skipjack? I haven't heard or seen any caught recently which worries me.

I'd bet with the full moon this upcoming weekend and the higher high tides and lower low tides (Forecasted) it will pull the dead stuff back into the water and probably make things just as pittiful. Although, the driving in the evenings should be fabulous.

Another report can be seen here.
