| Beast! Been on some boats where some 60 pounders were caught, but I had no idea they got THAT big. The dedicated ling pitch rig when I go out is an avet sx on a jigging rod - pretty sure that wouldn't have gotten the job done on that one! |

Nice. I've sane monsters in Florida before. But I do wonder. For a fish that was shot 3 times with a spear gun. There are no holes to be seen and is dispraportinate on eithe side. Being held in a way that the fish would not lay like that. Photoshopped? But who knows if it's true great snag. Now put down a bait and try to catch one that big and see who triumphs lol. _________________ D. Askew |

According to the story along with the second picture (where you can see the head-shot that likely brought this beast down), it was speared by multiple people, therefore it won't qualify for any records.
Too bad, because that is a pig of a lemonfish. |
