hit nopac first at sun-up to find big surf and rippin current outta the channel. not many people at first, no luck gettin mullet, but got away with one red at 23" and the first pompano in a while! met a man (if i remember correctly) named "hector" that reads the forum....hope you did good man....(besides the nice 29"er) always cool meeting fellow fisherman.
surfers were happy with the B-E-A-UTIFUL sets rollin in! big, green walls rollin in from 50 yards past the jetty all the way in to shore! sorry no pics, forgot the camera again kinda wish i didnt sell my board... _________________ "When times are tough,

I was there, too. That current was rippin inside and outside the jetty. I boxed one pomp on the end before the tide started really cooking and a buddy boxed 2 trout from the channel.
There were actually real surfers out there yesterday. You know, the ones that stand on the board and ride it rather than just sitting on it for hours expecting a Hawaii type wave to come in. |
