I am from CC but live and work in Houston..UG anyway on my way down this weekend and usually on a boat with a buddy,but not saturday. I am looking for a good place to wade fish Saturday morning. Cold..Yes Windy?
Anyone willing to let me in on a good spot..will be appreciated.

Try behind the church on the backside of the island across from Mustang island. Take the second road all the way down and around. You'll see a nice sandy area leading up to some grass. Wade out to about knee deep and start casting. work out until your almost chest deep and work along the shore. Red glitter bass assasins on 1/8 oz jigs with white tails is a winner if the water is clear and not cloudy. go darker in color if water is off color or cloudy.

If I was still living in paradise, I'd be slaying those specks on the early morning bite right now! Crying or Very sad

Thanks for the reply. I believe i know just where you are talking about. I ts the new church on the left hand side as you are driving to Port A..Right? Near fish pass, but just before it...Right
