Water is beautiful, driving is slow but friendly, workable population of trout south of the high banks, blacktip sharks are aggressive on whiting and skipjacks - one of my 7 runs, had a fish on for ten minutes, pulling drag, swimming nicely to cuba, that sucker just up and decided to prove (for my third time this year) they can bite right through your steel leader material........maybe I should finally upgrade the cable? Lot's of skippies, spanish, and a few large redfish on the beach. A couple guys caught a tarpon over 6 feet. It is really setting up nicely for the fall. _________________ The next epic report is currently in the past. |
