Out of Towners and Amendments

This may have been asked in the past and I missed it, but my question is what as someone that does not live in corpus area can I do to help the cause ? I grew up going to the beach down there and want nothing more than for my kids and their kids to have the same opportunities. Anyone that thinks this is just about 7200' of beach needs to take drive over to the beaches in AL and FL where I just moved from and you will see the future if developers have their way. I commend the men and women who have been fighting for our rights on this issue and ask if there's something that I can do to help the fight let me know .

She's going to be here in Corpus Christi to take credit (much of it her due) at the Packery Channel Project opening dedication ceremony on October 6. Write to ask her to have her speech writer explain the privativization of half the project and more than a mile of the beach south of it when all of it was built on public land and paid for with tax dollars. Ask her to have the ceremony take place at the south jetty, not at the north. Then send a copy of your letter to the editor of the Caller-Times.
