Jerry B's Kayaks and the Corpus Christi Chapter of Texas Kayak Fisherman will be hosting a Lures Tournament Saturday April 8th.
Check in 6:30-7:30 at Jerry B's Kayak shop with a new lure or new pack of plastics ..
Weight ins back at Jerry B's at 3pm
Largest Red, Trout and Flounder splits the pot of lures

Our last tournament BJ was the winner with a 25 inch red he walked away with 16 new lures

So that my introduction to this board isn't all on the same topic, I thought I'd reply to this one too.

I will try my best to defend the title but I really got lucky last time. For fun, I will be using ONLY lures won in the last tourney - the pink skitterwalk, the redfish magic, and the DOA shrimp...that's my plan anyway (i have never tried skitterwalks or RF Magic). Look forward to it.

That's a good question that we've never addressed.
We'll figure it out and make sure its clear beforehand...I am thinking Yes, slot reds only...but will talk to the others. (this tourney is all about goofing off/having fun so would hate to see anyone have a complaint about unclear rules)

This sounds like my kinda tournament, sounds really relaxed. Very Happy

Jerry, i dont know if you remember me but me and 2 of my buddies were in your shop about a month ago, you showed us around your shop and an awsome kayaking video.We were the young guys lookin for something to yak out bait in. Either way, your shop was awsome and we really apprecited you taking the time to show us around.

I guess this is turning into something. We have done this a couple of times with CCCTKF its all just for fun. Meet some folks make some friends and tell some stories. One thing about this is if you aren't happy you can have your entrance fee back Very Happy
