How often do guys use ghost shrimp for bait???? and how do you all like to hook them???????????? I know people have all types of methods for these things. I have ghost shrimp guns and catch them all the time I just have never been tempted to use for bait since they are so soft. I just catch them with the kids and put them back.

i think ghost shrimp are the best sheepie bait....so mostly in the colder months for me. i hook them by entering at the end of the tail area on the bottom side and follow it up towards the body, so it curves with the hook, exiting just before the abdomen. leaving the claws and legs to wriggle about as they please. works for me. Very Happy

Try googling "egg spawn sacs", which is very fine mesh people use for salmon eggs...

I have lots of it; and I will be using it this summer up here...Let me know if you want some...Plus I can show you how to tie it.

Over the years I've seen one family after another trying to use raw chicken liver to catch catfish....Wrong...wrong...wrong....It's best salted....and then used in a spawn sac...(some would say fishnet pantyhose...but only "hookers" wear that hose!) ...hint...hint!

Thanks for the info guys, I guess they are worth the trouble. I will look into the egg spawn sacks.
