just wondering if anybody else was on the bluefish over last weekend. landed two in the packery and two on PINS 'bout 22 miles in. they were hitting top water plugs. they happen to be my first, so also was wondering if that is normal for them to be that close. by the way in the surf they both were caught in the second gut. _________________ All we have is time and time is all we have to fear |

Bluefish are aggressive wherever there are baitfish schooling and will come in close enough to attack shiny things on people, like the zippers on your shorts. Other than that, they are not uncommon much of the year and darned welcome on the smoker. _________________ The Trash Heap Has Spoken!

Caught a nice one around this time @PINS last year, followed by a red then a whiting (of course). Called it the US slam |
