Check out the pics from Kendal Larson of our trip last weekend. There is a sequence where I realize I have the biggest trout of my life and then I loose her at the boat. A comedy of errors.. paddle across my lap, drag tightened down from oiling the reel, couldn't get my hands on my fish lipper, and the topwater fell out of mouth when I went to hand lip her.... makes a great photo story.
We nevr got rained on. We did have some howling winds tho. We got skunked on Friday but Sat we found a good many reds and few trout. We did the same on Sunday before the front fishing from the skiff at Dagger & Ransom flats. |

Great pics! It looks like you all had a great time in spite of losing the big trout. You were going to release her anyway so no biggie.
Pepitos! I loved their enchiladas and their salsa with the fresh oregano in it. |

| Those photos were taken by Kendal Larson, a professional outdoor photographer. He has 2 bird shots in the current issue of TPWD Magazine. He uses a Canon Digital SLR with some mighty fine glass attached to it. I couldn't tell you anymore than that. |

No wonder there are no pictures of him in there. He wouldn't trust you or Dean with his high dollar camera! |

| That was the for western edge of Lighthouse Lakes or South Bay. We camped on Quarantine Shoreline with Aransas Bay on one side and South Bay on the other. It was a sweet spot for kayak camping & fishing trip. |
