Have you read DAMO's post from this past week? Sounds like the Gulf has been pretty wicked lately.

It's been bad lately...honestly......water color is great....wave action is terrible...last time we went out was 4/5/09 and had 1-3 footers in the morning with 2-4 footers in the afternoon. My brother and I went trolling at the nearshore rigs and struck out. However we only trolled artificials all day.....no ribbonfish or squid... We read about 67 degrees on our thermometer. (I am very sure other boats were out jigging and dropping baits for snapper and the like)... I believe by the end of the month the kingfish and their friends will be in the area. Here a few pics to hype you guys up for the upcoming season....

Wildthing, good to see you still cruising the board. It has been hard to fight the weather offshore. We made one solid day wahoo fishing and came up dry. The endangered Red Snapper were doing quite well however in State Waters.
