And a heartfelt "Thank you!" from me.

B-1 83 Dad:
19 year old second Lt.. Started off as a bellygunner in B-17s - became a bombadier on B-24's in China-Burma-India theater. Nailed the Bridge over the River Kwai and was shot down on that mission (just made it into friendly territory). Flew gasoline over the "Hump" into China using B-24s.

Recalled in Korea. Flew in B-36s and B-52s in the Cold War. Had live H bombs loaded and flying over the North Pole during the Cuban Missle Crisis - a "one way mission" with targets of Moscow and Gorki.

2 tours of Vietnam - one in Laos as a "civilian", the other as commander of a base 1 mile off a major artery of the Ho Chi Mihn trail.

It's no wonder he was silver headed by 40.

A big thank you to the Vets. Time to brag. Grand-dad in Army, wounded in France WW1. Dad flew in B17 Italy WWII (shutterbug, still have some great shots) four years Army-Air Corps, five years Army. Son is a former Marine (once a Marine always a Marine). May all the vets and their families be blessed and more then that may God watch over those in now. May He protect them and give peace to their families. Very Happy

Ditto on all the above. May our new prez bring honor to those who have given their lives, those who have served, and those currently serving by allowing them to finish the job and come home victors...

The new prez didn't wear the uniform of any servive he doesn't know jack about those who serve or served their country. However he is a smooth talker so there are those that would believe he did if he told them that he did. Very Happy
