The fish were hungry Friday morning at PI, 7/18. All were caught on that magic bait - the 3" Gulp Shrimp New Penny w/ a 1/8 oz. chartruse jighead. The redfish was taken while sightcasting in about 8" of water.
The water has been notably more clear lately. |

Friend I was fishing with Sunday got a slam also. Sort of. The spec was to small so it was released.
We were in Deadmans, launched here at Billings.
