Hey yall! Heading down from Ft Worth coming up...Is the Best Western on the Island pretty good? They've got decent rates.
Any new places to eat down there? Is Snoopy's still pretty good?

SO is Laguna Reef in Flour Bluff at Bluff Landing Marina - in spite of them not answering any of my emails concerning advertising Twisted Evil

Snoopy's is greasy, but still awesome. Doc's isn't to bad either and you have Dragonfly and Sushi Bar if you want to spend more. As far as hotels and places to stay, there are tons of new ones comin up and all are fairly nice. If you like best western, go for it.

Be sure to call the Bahia Mar too! They are a sponsor and have small kitchenettes so you can cook what you catch. They are right across the street from the seawall near Packery.

I like Island Italian, good prices, good food and laid back.

and of course snoopys is always good (cash only & expensive)

The new resturant "Tsunami" has good burgers steaks etc.. Price is pretty reasonable. Not that it matters that much but they pour a pretty legit cocktail as well Very Happy
