I am looking at buying a larger reel for shark fishing and wanted some opinions on the two reels, advantages or disadvantages. I am looking on ebay and the price for a 12/0 isn't that much more than the 9/0. Anyone have one for sale???

Thanks for any advice!!

where do you plan on fishing with it? if its PINS i'd say get a 9/0. saves you money, not just on the reel, but on the tackle, rod, ect. If you're gonna be going to florida, then i'd say get the 12/0. there's nothing wrong with the 12/0, but unless you plan on using a 10lb stingray or 20lb jack as bait, there's no point in getting one. a 12/0 would look a little silly baited with a 10" whiting for bait.
