| My brother in law and i got in the kayaks under the jfk causeway headed south about 50 yards, set the rod holders on the edge of the channel right across from snoopys. Got set up about 8:30 p.m. and waited, first bite was around 9:15. From then until 11:45 we got 8 drum from 37 to 42 inches long. All fish were released to fight another day. If we would have had more bait we could have sat there all night catching those beauties. Also all fish were caught on 12 and 15lb test so it made the battles quit interesting. |
