Prayers sent.
Monday would have been my dad's 84th birthday. WWII vet also. It pains me to think how they are fading away so fast. I lost him about a year and half ago. I think of him everyday.
RB the pain will fade but the memories will stay forever. God bless and may He ease your pain. _________________ The Lord Bless and Keep You

Sorry for your loss RB, I lost my dad(fishing buddy) last year at the age of 61 of cancer so I can relate to the empty feeling inside and will always have, all I can suggest is know that every fish you catch, every time you're on the water and every time the sunrises across the bay he's right next to you watching over you. When my dad past a saying came to me "all we have is time and time is all we have to fear"...just know he's in a better place where the water is calm and fish of every type are abundent and the beverages never end.
Again best of luck,
