My opinion right before the split is that duck hunting down here is every bit as good as any where in the Mississippi flyway, Stuttgart, Duvall Bluff, Lodges Corner - any of the places you always read about. Remember that is coming from a died in the wool red @$$ razorback.

And you dang sure cant catch, flounder, redfish or specks on your way to / in or on your way from the blind.

What a great country and area of that country to line in. Everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving

It's all ducky outside with TONS of new birds down and I'm stuck at work. Just GREAT. Sure hope I can get out before the break.

...if I get to go it will be Sunday morning, in the rain. They way it looks right now the Razorbacks have a better chance of beatin LSU than I do to go hunting.

The news at our place for the end of the first split still reads teal. Limited Saturday witha couple more today. A few more big ducks showing so hopefully the 10-day break with let some more settle in.....did manage a nicely plumed hoodie that's off to the taxidermist tomorrow. And the flounder are biting too....
