| Anyone been finding any good numbers of keeper trout on artificials lately. I have been catching maybe 5 keepers by grinding it out all day. Tons of 14-15. I had two large trout follow up 12 inch trout that were hooked. I have caught some decent trout on shrimp but was wondering if anyone else is going through the same with plastics. Thanks. By the way for the weekend I wound up finding all of my fish near the bridge. Less than 10 minutes from billings. |

I caught a 17in. keeper last time I was in the surf on a double drop rig with
fishbites. Must have been really hungry. |

Went out this morning south of JFK and didnt catch anything but those eel like fish with the arrow shaped heads. Caught about 5 of those on plastics. _________________ Fishing and Kayaking its a rough life but somebody has to do it. |

I went out today and same luck. One 15" and one 17" on plastics. A few undersize were caught too. Fished five hours for only two trout. Better than being at home. I didn't realize the camera was set on black and white but I know how much y'all like pics so here it is.

Haven't been down for two weeks, but two weeks ago today at Baffin was the same story you had only about 20 specks 12" to 14" on white bass assassins and cocahoe minnows...and a 17" red on a white DOA under a cajun float working the bottom, the next night nada on white plastics only about 6 dinks on rootbeer saltwater assassins. The prior trip down with my fishing brother the dinner bell rang and I got 9 specks at 18" in about 45 minutes on bass assassins. _________________ Become a part of the food chain, wade fish.

Hey, we were down in Rockport, Aransas Bay, for the past four days. Saturday and Sunday morning we caught between 25-30 keeper trout on soft plastics per morning. I will be making a post with pictures here in the next day or so. The average trout was probably 17"-18" with a number in the 22'-24" range. We kept very few fish as we still have some in the freezer. We also caught a number of under sized Redfish and one Flounder and one Drum.
