| im heading down the mustang island state park for the first time i was wondering if thast a good place for surf fishing and if so wuts the best bait ? |

Try cut mullet in any area that is light on seagrass coming in.

| The fishing can be very good there. It is just very crouded on the weekends. I did well there this past week on the jetties. Have a good time. I may head out there this evening. |
