Took the boat out this morning, launched from Marker 37 and started working our way south. Not a nibble. Three different soft plastic and and spoons.

Wind picked up so we ran south a bit and tried drifting across from the power plant. Nothing, so I set the wife up with a bobber and fishbites since she wore herself out casting.

She landed three drum in about 20 minutes and skunked me for the day. Crying or Very sad

My son fish nighthawk yesterday morning and did real well. Caught four reds and two of them were over 31 in. Here's a picture of one of them

Coach: Does your son catch'em on Tequilas, like you?
Also, a kayaker asked about fishing the "Z" islands. off the JFK Causeway. Have you fished there? TexasJim

Is made three lures are tequila Gold sand eels, white paddle tails and gold spoons. I'm not sure what you're referring to as the Z islands. I think I know but I haven't fished over by the JFK in a long time.
