My grandsons are working on there eagle scout badge and they have one project left before they get it. They were building an outdoor dodgeball type of pit. I forgot what it's called. They were using the artificial lumber which is more expensive but last longer. They were working on putting the panels together which is here in the picture and once they had it figured out they were going to go and get all the rest of the work done. They were supposed to meet with all their rest of their troop to put it together tomorrow. Well they had some of the wood stacked up outside the house out there on the island while they went to get some more brackets and things they need. When they got back somebody had stolen it all from in front of the house. They had to raise all kinds of money and put several hundred dollars of their own into the project and some lowlifes come by and steal it away from them. Feel so bad for my grandson's.

Twisted Evil
I hate thieves!

I'd be willing to pitch in a few bucks to help them finish their Eagle project!

I hate that they would have to pay for it out of their pockets

Somewhat good news. My son and grandsons were driving around the neighborhood and they found some of the stuff laying along the side of the road. Apparently it must have been kids and it just couldn't handle the heaviness of some of the equipment. Got most of it back

Sounds like jealousy to me, and would bet they know the culprits. Kids can awful cruel, sometimes.
Good luck to them on the project. My son is an Eagle Scout and I remember his project. BTW, my son's Eagle award resulted in him getting a scholarship from Texas A&M, so your grandson's efforts may go further than his Eagle Award.
Hope they get it finished before the culprit can do more damage.

Thanks everyone for reaching out. Yeah they were heartbroken at first but then they realized that they'll be able to get their project done. They're great kids. Not only getting their Eagle Scout awards but one of the top ones in their class at Seashore Middle Academy.

My grandson and the group of boy scouts finished the project. It is called a Gaga pit. It's a game that the kids are playing like dodgeball. This project was donated to Seashore Learning Center. That's my grandson in the middle and he should be proud of himself.
