I have a 6 gallon gas tank, and my outboard sips gas. Do any of y'all have a 3 gallon tank for sale, or would like to trade for my 6 gallon one? I'm in Rockport, but wander to Corpus now and then. This probably belongs in Classifieds, but nobody reads there. TexasJim

Only fill the existing one 1/2 way up?!?!
Or know you've got plenty of reserves with the 6 gallon option?
(At least you don't have quad 350's on the stern and they don't simply 'sip').... Cool

I like to keep my tanks full, so I don't tend to get any moisture. I also use only non-ethanol gas. Three gallons would work good for me, and it would lighten the load in the stern of my tin flats skiff by almost twenty pounds. My Yamaha 15 4-stroke is stupid heavy. Just thought someone might like to double their capacity. If I don't find anyone to swap with, I'll just buy a new one, and sell my biggie. Stay warm! TexasJim

Jim, I getwhat you are saying. A few months back I down graded to a new 14’ Jon boat with a 15 hp mercury. I specifically specified a 3 gallon tank. Heck, on my Mako ProSkiff w/40hp Mercury I do not remember ever burning more than 3 gallons fishing all day. Take care…..Smokey 😎

Hey, Smokey: Is the ramp still closed? Sure would be nice to launch there when the tides are higher next month on........TexasJim

if you're talking about the ramp south of Bayside, yes, it's been closed....something to do with the contractor not finishing the recent work or something

10/4, still closed. I understand that is in litigation with the county and the contractor. I really wonder if it will ever be open worth a hoot in my life time. Oh well, I have my work around now. If I ever get an update, I will post up. Take cat……..Smokey
