Today I went wade fishing near the church on 361. I had a pint of life shrimp and a cork. I caught 8 trout 10 reds 1 black drum. Everything was small except one 23.5 inch red which I harvested.

Things might have been small but you're catching a lot of fish. Sounds like a pretty fun day. With that many small fish taking their shrimp I would switch over to a large soft plastic in a light color like white.

Some friends came down from the four corners to visit my son and wanted to go out fishing. The two friends were using shrimp under a popping cork and they were catching tons and tons of fish but no keepers. My son switched to a gold spoon and then to a white down south soft plastic and they wound up catching keeper drum, reds and trout.
