TXDOT SEEKS PUBLIC INPUT FOR THE PROPOSED REGIONAL PARKWAY – NORTH PADRE ISLAND PROJECT

You’re invited to a Public Scoping Meeting for the proposed Regional Parkway – North Padre Island project from State Highway (SH) 286 on the Corpus Christi mainland to Park Road (PR) 22 on North Padre Island, a length of approximately 13 to 16 miles in Nueces and Kleberg counties, Texas.

TxDOT is exploring potential route options for a proposed new crossing from the Corpus Christi mainland, across the Laguna Madre, to North Padre Island. Public involvement is a critical component to TxDOT’s efforts to identify the best possible route option, and the study team welcomes all comments from the community as the agency moves forward through this process.

IN-PERSON OPTION
When: 3 – 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, 2024
Where: Mansion Royal, 8001 S. Padre Island Dr., Corpus Christi, TX 78412

VIRTUAL OPTION
Public scoping meeting materials will be available for viewing online on www.txdot.gov, keyword search “Regional Parkway,” or click here: https://www.txdot.gov/projects/hearings-meetings/corpus-christi/2024/regional-parkway-north-padre-island.html. The virtual option will be available starting at 3 p.m. on Thursday, October 3, 2024.

The same information will be available at the virtual Public Scoping Meeting and in-person option. The virtual Public Scoping Meeting and in-person option will be conducted in English with Spanish materials available.
