...and the scenery is nice! I paddle/surf the kayak almost every day after work as long as the wind gusts don't exceed 45 mph, and aside from the good cardio workout it keeps me busy and helps me not to dwell on all the poor fishing weather we get in Spring time. While on the water yesterday I paused long enough to take a few shots of the backdrops.

I think the volunteers do their best, but you can sure tell she's been sitting in salt water for 80 years. The other side is worse. Sad

*Update: crews have been busy painting the Lex hull in the last few days. They're doing a red primer first, but the progress is looking good.
