Even though the winds were blowing hard and the water was really churned up I just had to get out. Being that the water was so bad I used a top water with a purple and chartreuse paddle tail dropper under it. Wound up catching nine keeper trout, 4 over 20, including this 24 in. Released everything.

Way to go, Tom!

Nice talking to you in your driveway on Thursday. The winds kept me from launching the boat but it looks like your trout bite was unaffected.

Good show as always.

Surprisingly the bite was pretty good. Even with the winds and dirty water

Good job on adapting to the conditions.
I skipped fishing yesterday and went birding in Port A and Rockport.
fYI the wildflowers in the Rockport cemetery are amazing.

After coming back from softball practice I decided to jump in the boat. Water was uglier than yesterday and the winds were a lot higher. Only managed two fish.
