Long time Bluff resident and friend of whom most of you have known as local reel repair, Mark Ross, passed away this morning from long time cancer battle.
He will be missed. Our prayers with the family.

Dang he sure did.
Kevin his son In law just called me with his passing. CANCER SUCKS.

I forgot i knew him, then re-connected thru this site.

He passed peacefully, probably popping a cork to see if his reel repair was perfect.

Mark was a real fighter and carried on his life like nothing was wrong. He fought to the very end and never gave a sign he was in pain, while I'm sure he had his moments. May he rest in peace.

Mark was a great guy. Have known him for over 20 years. Always had a smile on his face and willing to help folks out. He will be, dearly, missed. Prayers to all of his family.

A memorial for Mark Ross will be held at the Lookout restaurant at Bluff's Landing at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
