Came across these the other day. I think the nearest Wafflehouse to us here is way on the other side of Houston!
And this little guy. Was only 8 inches or so.

Good ol wafflehouse! Lots of things to be seen around those places around 2 or 3 am! 
Those are cool fish! We were at the floaters one night tuna fishing and a big one came floating by. He got free gaffed and was soooo good! |

There are Waffle Houses in Austin, it's a great place to watch the fights at 2am.  |

After a few years involved in hurricane response, somebody developed a Waffle House Sign Hurricane Severity Scale. Based on the numbers of letter blown out of the
W A F F L E
H O U S E
sign.
Can't remember the numbers and Cat 1, 2, 3 scale...
