Took the boat out for a test run today to see if all the repairs that we made on yesterday held up. And they did. Of course while I was out there I had to test drive my fishing rods and reels as well. Bite was extremely slow today. In a couple hours only caught six undersized specs and six nice Sandy's which I let go. all the sand trout were actually bigger than the specs that I caught today. one area that I went through a specifically targeting flounder. thought I had one hooked but it turned out to be a stingray.

By the way, I deboned The flounder today to get it ready to be stuffed for dinner for tomorrow

That's neat! I have never de-boned them when stuffing them. However, you doing so reminds me of a friend's reaction to my taking the back bone out of a flounder while we were eating at the original location of the Black Diamond Oyster Bar. He looked at me real funny and said "I can't believe you just did that, I didn't know you could do that"! Laughing Flounder is my favorite saltwater fish, but not stuffed, only grilled, because the stuffing taste overcomes the taste of the flounder, but I guess that's my problem! Laughing

Making me hungry! ! ! I used to dredge the fillets in masa harina, then egg wash and then Louisiana spicy fish fry. Flounder tamale's, yummy. Now I'm drooling...
