Sounds about right.
Little to no wind today, and it's 4 rows at 3 feet, swells coming in, and a really high tide this am...... And it ain't even in the Gulf yet.
The dunes can't catch a break this year..... |

PINS was nasty yesterday! Bad surf, worse beach conditions and I won't even talk about the way people were parking! Really bad conditions! Still fun though! I got a little sandy and saw a few deer in the dunes but no luck on beans or finding anything interesting. Im sure ready for a good trip down there. |

No barricades up or sand berms in place, as of this am. All the trashcans have been removed, and the porta-potties moved to the upper Access Rds.
Hopefully Karen has been schooled by the remainder of the Commissioners Court on what a total waste of County resources it's been to block everything off, and remove the 'adulting gene' from drivers that ought to be able to make up their own decisions.
Trust me, if the water is to the dunes, and you want to venture out, that's on You, Ya Stunad...... |

And just for clarity, the last reading from NOAA 42020 (40 miles out or so from Baffin), has significant wave height at 14 feet! So, it's on it's way.
Use the old Boy Scout Motto - Be Prepared. (That was before the Boy Scouts went all PC, but that's a totally different argument). |
