Get the water about 10:00 till maybe noon and things were a little on the slow side. All I got were two just under 16-in trout and a 27-in red. came back and released them all in my canal hoping to someday maybe catch that red under the lights.

One cool thing was I was drifting some spoils in about 2 ft of water and saw a bunch of rippling. Looked like a big school of migrating mullet. Turned out it was a mega School of skipjack. it was fun ripping a soft plastic through the water and having them just knock the hell out of it. It was kind of fun. |

| Beautiful red Zia, especially the two similar spots! You must have a live well for keeping the fish alive? I guess it's for picking which ones you want to keep? Some nights I see a lot of fish on Tony's lights, but does anyone ever catch anything off the lights? My friend with a cabin on the North end of the land-cut has huge lights they burn at night, but most of the fish(trout) caught are barely legal. |

| I catch quite a few on my light. I just do it for play and a lot of are small but occasionally there are some nice ones. the other day I fished for several hours and the biggest fish I caught out in Laguna was 16. At night I caught an 18 and 1/2 in under my lights |
