Honest question here folks.

With the land movement activities on the 'Water Park' side of PR22, once they make it an honest bridge, what is exactly the point?
I've been told it's a vision of a Mini-San Antonio Riverwalk, which leads me to this honest question.
When you visit the Riverwalk, it's because it's an destination. Now follow me here. Where do you park your car to visit this 'destination'? Likely, a paid surface street lot.
So, once this Mini-Riverwalk gets built, 1. what's the draw of the Destination, and 2. where are 'they' expecting people to park (if they can draw anyone)???

they're supposed to park in their driveway....it's slated to be mainly residential on the waterpark side, at least for Phase I

the new owners are not following the old plans...

San Antonio built one of those across US281 just north of Loop 1604 - a bridge with no road on either side, and sat that way for exactly 10 years.
Hard not to have a Whats With That $40M ? reaction driving under that bridge twice/day for 10 years.
Now it's Sonterra Blvd, and very busy, Methodist hospital on one side, shopping and 25,000-congregation-church on the other.
and no, they didn't ask me, either.

Isn't the part across from the park supposed to be a shopping center? I think that may be their intention...guests to the park and the 'residential area' can walk to shops without walking across the highway.

most of the shops are "supposed" to be on the Lake Padre side; people will walk under the bridge, not across the highway....and actually, they will be driving golf carts...

at least that's the plan...
