Looking on magic seaweed for this Tues 12May, surf height is 4-5ft with a 17-20mph wind out of the south/southeast all day.
Question, will these conditions likely put the tide up to the dunes?
Planning a overnight trip down but wondering if I should push it to Thursday where surf height is 2-4ft and wind 14-15mph all day.
Thanks.

All depends on where you go. Some places, likely at high tide, others. yea nah, not so much. Been under a Coastal Flood Advisory the past few days, which has zero to do with the local weather (winds were out of the North Sunday, and it was a royal mess in places).

And for what it's worth, you'd do just as good as Asking Ms. Cleo, and reading tea leaves for exact conditions 3 or 4 days out. Those 'forecasts' are strictly 'harmonic analysis' of the tides and don't/can't factor in 'weather'.
