What happened to most of the local tide info links on CF.com? Four out of the six shown under "Local and Marine Weather and Tides" are not working.
Being an avid tide fisherman, I've been using NOAA's reliable predictions as well as Tides4Fishing as a backup. Also been doing the math and eyes-on trips for areas such as Deadman's Hole, backside of MISP (road to the western end is a POS), Kate's Hole and Shamrock.
I'm heading out shortly to yak fish either Billings Flats or Packery Flats; the yak hasn't been in the water since November.

My observations are that NOAA has been steadily cutting their budget by reducing their instrument maintenance and computer bandwidth.
Many of my favorite weather and tide stations have feathered away over the past five years - Aransas Pass tide prediction is no more.
There are no longer any active tide and wind measurements between Corpus and Port Isabel.

Have you tried tides4fishing.com. I just checked the site and randomly chose Packery Channel and it came up. I haven't used the site in a while, but I enjoyed the fact it reflected the solunar tables with the tides.

I put my 10' NW Propel Slayer in at Packery Park around 1 pm yesterday. Opted to paddle and left the prop drive in the truck. Weather was overcast, misting. tide on the verge of peak low and a pesky wind.
Went straight across into the flats throwing a bone spook topwater and had one small trout and numerous needlefish chasing it but no hook-ups. Set my drift, switched rods and threw a Billy Bay shrimp. Caught a few small trout on that as I hit the edge of the hole and continued thru the hole with sporadic hook-ups.
Drifted onto the north flats and decided to work my abs and paddle back to the east marshes looking for redfish. Found one tailing around a small oyster bed but couldn't get it to bite. Also saw a few sheepshead. The wind slowed, the sun came out and the tide started coming in around 3 pm. Left there paddling south into the tide to reset my previous drift thru the hole and started catching small trout again but less often. The trout bite seemed to turn off around 4:30 so I drifted north to the spoil islands to look for redfish. Saw a few but no takers.
Called it a day around 5:30 and worked the abs again paddling back to the launch into the incoming tide. The Parking lot was full of vehicles and people enjoying the beautiful afternoon/evening.
May try Billing's Flats and spoils north of there later today.
