Waited for the winds to die today and they never really did. Sitting home for several days and not fishing got really antsy and went out anyway. went out and stopped at the 2-minute honey hole anf the water was pretty stained as you can imagine after several days of high winds. However short way towards the intercoastal and the waters cleared up real nice. I started in fairly clear water and was throwing my tequila gold sand eel and would pick up a few trout. As I got into a little more stain water I switched over to purple and picked up some and then when I got to real stained water I switch to a gulp under a cork. Was out for a long time for me, three hours. I didn't find any concentrations of fish I pick up two or three here and then I turn around make another drifted in the same spot and nothing. I would move a little further and pick up another two or three and then nothing. That was pretty much all day. I lost count of how many I caught and released but he was approximately 12 to 15 keeper trout. nothing big to speak of the biggest was solid 18 but all the other keepers were between 16 and 18. Planning on hitting the beach on Friday hopefully surf will settle down some another day and be fishable.

It again this morning. Water was a little less clear today than it was yesterday. Also Water is a little higher and the fish weren't as aggressive. I had to work to get a limit. But a good way to finish the limit was with this 21 incher.
