After reading the paper, yes CSI still do that, and finishing the crosswords etc had some breakfast and about nine hit the water. Wasn't going to go that early but my wife wasn't feeling real well today and I wanted to let her be able to get back to bed and get some sleep without me being around. 2 minute honeyhole is too murky to fish so I was going to head out to some spoil islands. on my way there something just caught my eye about the water. Don't know what it was but it just seemed like I had to fish there. Glad I did. Made about 10 to 15 cast and picked up five trout. texted with my neighbor and let him know where the fish were and that I was leaving to go find some red fish. Fished for about an hour and bunch of different spots looking for reds and hardly got a bite of any sort. My son called me and said he was out close to the area that I was fishing earlier and I went by and put down power pole and visited with him for about 15 minutes. I kind of directed him where to go and he wound up catching just a couple little trout. I was just looking for fish so I can try to find out where they were to direct him so he can catch some but he left before I found them again. As he waved on by to head back to the island I proceeded to pick up four more keeper trout including this nice 20-inch

$5 says it took longer to finish breakfast than it did to read every printed story in the paper. Ads and Crosswords, not counted! These days, a stiff wind will likely roll the whole thing down the street!!! Laughing Laughing

You are absolutely right.if my wife goes out for a walk before I go out and get the newspaper she tries to throw it up on the porch for me but it never makes it cuz it's so light and flimsy.
