I didn't get out onto the water until almost 11 and I decided I was going to Target redfish. The water is pretty stained all the way out on till almost the intracoastal. I was working in about two feet of water and around spoil islands using soft plastics. Third cast I catch a 22 inch redfish. I also wound up catching three or four keeper size trout that I released immediately. Picked up a second red about the same size as the first. Then the boaters started going crazy. There were a couple of boats just zigzagging back and forth through the flats and around spoil islands looking for a red fish. Messed up the fishing for everybody.
When I got back I decided I didn't want to keep the redfish after all so I released both of them into my canal. Hopefully one night I'll be able to catch them on my ultra light under The lights
