No offense to you and your sponsor doc, but I've hooked myself many times while fishing. This pic is the latest. You can't see it but I have my right hand behind my back wrapped in a dirty towel because my mom caught a juvenile bonnethead and wanted a picture with it. Then she tried to remove the hook from its mouth bare handed. I ripped it from her and paid the price. I smiled, but I was not happy.
Point being, I don't see doctors when I hook myself unless it goes through the entire finger. At which point I would probably just have someone cut the barb off with bolt cutters and remove it myself with some alcohol (both externally and internally applied). My only recommendation - and I'm sure your sponsor can do this - is make sure your tetanus shot is up to date.
Really though, thanks for the report. Full moon, cold front, lots of wind. Pomp window, trout, reds, sheeps. TY Tyler! _________________ All things will pass. Have a Blessed day. |
