Saw Tyler whilst out shopping this morning and told him I was headed out to the beach around 2 pm. Drove blacktop to PINS North Sticks (pedestrian beach) then all the way north to BHP on the beach. One skipjack and one whiting hooked on small silver spoon with very little bait seen on falling tide. Saw lots of people/vehicles during that drive with a few sharker camps. Water looks GREAT!
Went to SPJ and caught three croaker in channel on white Gulp swimming mullet on a falling tide. Lots of bait in the channel. Beats hanging around the house.
Downside: traffic lights out on Island when I started back for home which meant traffic backed up big time. Surprisingly, traffic moved slowly but consistent. I avoided the huge jam by taking Whitecap to Aquarius. Clever me!
